Afterglow

by PETER BOYCHUK

Best friends Alex and Anna each have their own reasons for setting off together to find the meteorite that landed near Tagish Lake in the Yukon on January 18, 2000.

This was an exciting show for me to light, because I had a clean white canvas to paint on. As the show was a one-act piece in real time, I set up the lighting as a single 45-minute sunset, with the twinkling stars coming out at the end. My personal favorite of all my lighting designs, because of the purity and simplicity.
